Kinematics to show its full solar tracking system at REI 2026, India
Kinematics will exhibit at Asia’s largest renewable energy show in Greater Noida from 22 to 24 October, presenting Kinematics Go!: slew drives, motors, post head bearings, Suntrack control and services, backed by a reinforced local team.
Kinematics will take part in Renewable Energy India Expo (REI) 2026, held at the India Expo Centre & Mart in Greater Noida from 22 to 24 October. The show is the group’s main commercial milestone in the Indian market this year and the first opportunity to present its complete tracking system to the country’s utility-scale ecosystem at scale. One system, measured at plant level
Most efficiency losses in a solar tracker do not sit in any single component. They accumulate across the chain, controller, motor, drive, bearing, and each supplier optimises only its own link. Kinematics designs and manufactures the entire chain in-house, which is what makes system-level gains possible.
In a traditional configuration built around a 300 W controller, a brushed motor and a conventional drive, 10 W of effective mechanical power reaches the tracker: a total efficiency of 3%. Kinematics Go!, with a 150 W controller and a brushless motor paired with an optimized slew drive, delivers 21 W, or 14% total efficiency, four times the output from half the rated power.
For the plant owner, that chain translates into +5% energy production and 100% tracker availability, supported by improved battery performance and by advanced algorithms for overcast and backtracking conditions. The optimized design and reduced BOM, including the elimination of U-bolts and the pony panel, cut installation cost by 10% and shorten commissioning.
The control layer: Suntrack Go!
Control remains the part of the system where Kinematics has the longest track record: the group launched the first Tracker Control Unit on the market and has delivered more than 1,000,000 TCUs worldwide.
On hall 16, booth A05, the team will demonstrate the full control architecture (TCU, NCU and RSU) together with the tracking algorithms that drive yield at plant level, including 3D Backtracking and Advanced Overcast operation. The Suntrack Go! controller is available in Self-Powered and Self-Powered Plus versions, with 150 W and 300 W output for brushless and brushed motors, a battery accessible and replaceable on site, Zigbee communications, and iStow and iFlood protection. Installation is magnet-attached, with no U-bolts and no fuse required; the SPP model removes the pony panel entirely.
The platform remains open: developers and tracker manufacturers can adopt the control layer on its own, or the complete Kinematics Go! system where maximum yield is the priority.
India as a priority market
India is now a priority market for the group. Kinematics has been strengthening its local team over recent months to support projects on the ground, shorten response times and build the technical and commercial coverage that utility-scale work demands. The agenda at REI will focus on EPCs, IPPs and tracker manufacturers working on large-scale projects. Further appointments will be announced shortly.
“REI is where this market makes its decisions, and we want Kinematics to be part of that conversation from the start,” the company said.
Meetings during the show can be arranged in advance at india@gokinematics.com.
